AUTOBIM3D creates 3D HVAC and plumbing models from your 2D installation drawings designed with AUTOFLUID. The 3D files can then be saved in .IFC format which is compatible with all common BIM packages on the market. AUTOBIM3D with RVT-connect facilitate importing your 3D designs into a BIM model easily and accurately so you can modify them directly inside your modelling package.
When you create 3D HVAC and plumbing designs with AUTOBIM3D, you will never be missing a 3D object or a Revit family in your project. Since all the objects in your layout are created as you are routing the network with AUTOFLUID, all the data related to your installation drawing is encapsulated in the file itself.
AUTOBIM3D Xport also lets you save .RVT files, REVIT’s native file format. Thanks to this feature, you can edit and share your HVAC and plumbing designs in Revit, without the need to master the software.
Keep working your
own way, in 2D
All you have to do is to export 2D architecture plans from the BIM model and use them to create your network drawings in AUTOFLUID. Once they’re drafted, AUTOBIM3D exports them back to your BIM project, in 3D. Do you need to modify your design? Then simply work on your plan in 2D with AUTOFLUID and then update your design external file in REVIT.
