The RVT-Connect free plugin for Revit brings together indispensable tools for a good communication between Revit and your 2D CAD platform. It is availlable for free for every stake holder of a BIM project to export accurate 2D plans backdrops and to insert .IFC 3D networks created with AUTOFLUID.
RVT-Connect helps you place your networks in the right location and the right level with no effort. You can even save them in .RVT format. All this without having to learn Revit.

Import 3D networks in DWG format. These networks will be treated as non-editable «blocks».
Generate 2D drawing backgrounds from the 3D model. This command lists all the views and levels for easy selection.
Create texts from the data contained in each object of the .IFC network.
Embed 3D networks in DWG format as «external reference» into your BIM model. They will be updated whenever the DWG file is modified.
Manage the list of all the levels in the model to easily find each floor and their properties.
Generate detailed bills of materials from your .IFC networks.
