Modify your AUTOSAN plumbing networks in 2D without re-redrawing
Adjustments to an existing elbow going down for example, is even faster than for the original outline. The “Change” control, detects the network that has been outlined and then allows one object to be exchanged with another from an intuitive pre-selection. For example, you can easily switch an elbow for a tee with plug in one operation.
Moving and deleted objects is no big deal as the shape of the adjacent parts of the network adapt automatically. There’s no need to redraw it anymore.
When you delete an object, the network changes to fit the new configuration. For example, if you delete a Y branch, the conduit will “close” automatically.
Easier text insertion
AUTOSAN pre-programs and pre-formats your text. By clicking on an already existing network, certain items of technical information (such as the duct size) will be recognised and used automatically.
The application automatically inserts text prefixes and suffixes. The pipe size will be formatted to suit the specification. These features also include:
- The creation of single or multi-line text
- Line number selection
- Automatic tracing of extension lines, frames, arrows, points, etc.
- If the text is modified the extension lines and frames are adjusted automatically
- Font and size selection
- Automatic scaling.

The “Supply Network Calculator” commands in AUTOSAN use a visual method. It makes it easy to calculate sections from an interactive diagram of your network. This clear, concise diagram contains all the information you need to design the 2D plan of your plumbing network.
With this method, the design and drawing only take place once the data has been worked out with the network calculator.
This process saves you from having to design, claculate and then re-design, according to the results of your calculations. As it is often the case with 3D software.
The Network Calculator is a lightweight yet powerful tool that allows you to dimension networks of any size using a simple network calculator diagram.

Les commandes de calcul “Minute” dans AUTOSAN utilisent une méthode visuelle qui facilite le calcul des sections à partir d’un schéma interactif de son réseau. Ce schéma clair et concis contient toutes les informations necessaires pour dessiner ensuite le plan de votre réseau sanitaire en 2D.
Avec cette méthode, la conception et le dessin ne se font qu’une fois les données établies dans la minute. Vous évitez ainsi de concevoir, calculer, puis reconcevoir le réseau en fonction des calculs obtenus, comme c’est le cas avec beaucoup d’outils 3D.
