Experienced MEP engineers, HVAC and plumbing CAD designers and technicians.

Inscription conditions

Upon acceptance of the quotation and signature of the training contract.

Prerequisite

Current working knowledge of AUTOCAD or similar CAD package, of Microsoft Windows and of using the internet.

Prices

350 € ex. taxes for 1 person only in a video conference training session with an instructor.

Duration

2 hours-over video conference.

Lead times

From 7 days to 4 weeks, depending on demand at the time of training.

Objectives

Pressure loss calculation on networks drafted with AUTOFLUID.

Trainees will learn how to:

- Understand the structure of a network and manage floor levels

- Prepare for calculation

- Include non-AUTOFLUID equipment to the calculation

- Calculate pressure loss across several floors and export it to Excel.

How to include non-AUTOFLUID equipment into calculations.

Calculation of pressure loss

Input flow rates, flow direction, hidden vertical lengths and equipment.

Select a section of the route chosen for the pressure loss calculation.

Generate a schematic of the calculated route.

Generate a calculation sheet in Excel containing friction losses and minor losses (tables and calculation methods based on industry benchmark studies: MEMENTO I-E IDEL’CIK, PORCHER air conditionning resources).
